With nxt.ability, EDE was able to systematically build innovation capabilities: from establishing the PVH Future Lab in Berlin to international immersion tours in Silicon Valley and Tel Aviv, all the way to identifying relevant startups in the field of machine learning. Through moderation in the “Digital College,” member companies were also empowered to develop their own digital strategies.
With our support, Wilo took decisive steps into new innovation fields: a Silicon Valley tour strengthened the understanding of innovation culture, while the “Wincubator” was established as an independent unit for business models “beyond pumps.” Technology scoutings in GreenTech and AI complemented the path toward a future-oriented smart factory.
For Miele, nxt.ability conducted systematic startup scouting in North America, focusing on GreenTech, AI, sensors, and robotics. The potential of more than 400 startups was assessed, relevant use cases for the business units were identified and further evaluated, and structured match-making with tech startups was facilitated.
